Our Head Candler, Chandler, is a true Colorado Springs original. A 3rd-generation local, Chandler’s life reads like a chapter from a mountain folklore anthology:

    •    By 13, he walked onto the Colorado State Black Powder/Tomahawk/Knife Throw Championship and claimed 1st place.

    •    At 14, he snuck onto Kurt Cobain’s property in Washington—a brush with rock-and-roll immortality.

    •    By 23, he faced down and conquered his own battle with alcoholism.

    •    By 30, he became the proud father of his darling daughter, Dylan.

    •    And as of today, he’s climbed 38 of Colorado’s 58 Fourteeners, with a vow to reach 40 before his 40th birthday.

But his greatest adventure yet? Candles.

There’s something about fire that has always captivated Chandler. “You can hold an element in your hand and watch it expire,” he says. And candles, well, the last few hundred thousand years can’t be wrong, right?

For Chandler, candle-making is more than a craft—it’s a meditation. He loves the simplicity, texture, and natural scent of pure beeswax, drawn to its sustainability and ability to create a low-toxin environment for his family and others. It’s a way to slow down, honor natural resources, and create something meaningful with his own two hands.

He also believes in the freedom of owning your time: “Owning a business is about making your own way through life—and maybe lighting a path for others while you’re at it.”
